Welcome to the official home of St. Thomas Shock Basketball

Since 2003, the St. Thomas Shock have helped introduce basketball to hundreds of youth athletes in St. Thomas and the surrounding area.

Our focus has always been on core skill development, teamwork and, above all else, fun. Through both our weekly clinics and competitive program, we strive to help our players grow in their development and love of the game of basketball.

Description:
These camps are designed for younger and newer players to experience the game of basketball in a positive environment. The players will learn fundamental skills and rules. This is accomplished through station work, games, relays and team competitions. Shock camp is perfect for ages 8-13, it is also a great week for experienced players to polish their fundamental skills. Mornings  are skill development focused and, afternoons are centered on games, relays and competitions.

Camp curriculum will teach and enhance the basic fundamentals for beginners, while also starting to incorporate more basketball IQ, in game concepts and rules of the game for more experience campers. Players will focus on defending,  rebounding, passing, heads up dribbling, controlled ball handling, form shooting and mechanics.  Camps will be family friendly and promote competition and increase player confidence. This camp is to better equip the athlete to participate in both house league and school programs
